DuPage Organic Garden Club (Community Group)

Event Type: Adult Program
Date: 3/2/2017
Start Time: 6:30 PM
End Time: 8:30 PM
Description:
Organic and untreated seeds can be very expensive. David Hodges of Turning Leaf Restoration will show us how to propagate and save our own seeds for the next growing season. David will breakdown which vegetables are good for beginners, intermediate and advanced gardeners. For the adventurous, squash propagation will be covered.

Since 1971, this club has been teaching members about building soil quality and taking care of garden pests naturally. A well-run ecological garden attracts birds and beneficial insects that help keep pests to a minimum and pollinate the plants. The programs are hosted by the DuPage Organic Garden Club and the Carol Stream Public Library.
