Repackaging Yourself: Identifying Transferable Job Skills For Women

Event Type: Adult Program
Date: 3/14/2017
Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Time: 8:30 PM
Please join Tamara Fay, Principal Consultant of TKFay Consulting, LLC as she gives practical advice for women in career transition.

Women who are in career transition are stay-at-home moms ready to go back to work, currently working in careers they no longer find rewarding, or searching for jobs that will enhance their financial situation.

For whatever their reason may be, this session will explore how they can create their next career by choice rather than by chance. The participants will obtain the knowledge to generate a powerful resume and to interview with confidence.

This includes:
-Identifying how to transfer job skills from one industry to another
-Learning how to take volunteer skills and market them into the four universal job skills.
-Understanding the value women bring based on experiences.
-Discussing how to market themselves into meaningful and in-demand qualifications.

Registration begins Tuesday, January 31st at 9 a.m.
