“How Native Shrubs Benefit the Garden” by Adrian Ayers Fisher •
There are many varieties of native shrubs that, while adding beauty to our gardens, benefit our ecosystem, especially birds and pollinators. This presentation will discuss the advantages of planting natives and why they’ll make your garden a livelier, more beautiful place.

Since 1971, this club has been teaching members about building soil quality and taking care of garden pests naturally. A well-run ecological garden attracts birds and beneficial insects that help keep pests to a minimum and pollinate the plants. The programs are hosted by the DuPage Organic Garden Club and the Carol Stream Public Library.

Location: Combined Room (Discovery & Horizon)
Other Information:
Doors will open at 6:30p for Garden Club members to mingle. All are welcome.
