Master Gardener Pat Kosmach will cover the basics of vegetable gardening, what people need to know to start and take care of a vegetable garden from the start to the finish of the growing season. She will also cover site selection, soil preparation, care throughout the season, and planting times and intervals.
This program is sponsored by The Friends of the Carol Stream Public Library. The Friends of the Library will conduct their annual meeting at 7:00 p.m., before the gardening program. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and learn how the Friends support the mission of the Carol Stream Public Library.
