This fall, the Carol Stream Public Library will be collecting knitted scarves for The Midwest Center for Homeless Veterans and Soldiers’ Angels. Come knit with others from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, October 13. Refreshments will be served. Participants must provide their own yarn and needles. For more information and a simple scarf pattern, please visit the Adult Services Desk. Turn in finished scarves by Thursday, November 1.
