Description:
 Join us for an audio introduction and celebration of African-American authors during Black History Month. These author’s writings span various genres and age levels. Light snacks will be provided.

*WE WILL LISTEN TO EXCERPTS OF AUDIOBOOKS BY THESE AUTHORS.*

Toni Morrison was a college professor, essayist, and novelist, with her first book The Bluest Eye published in 1970. Morrison received many awards for her writings including the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2012.
