Let's be real: it's been a rough year and you probably need a little relaxation. Join Alexa Drubay for Laughter Yoga. Laughter Yoga is a laughter exercise program created in 1995 by physician Dr. Madan Kataria. It combines the 3 powerful elements of:

unconditional, mindful laughter exercises (not based on jokes or comedy but rather on everyday situations)
deep yogic breathing (pranayama), hence the word yoga in Laughter Yoga
mindfulness meditation ( to end the session so that we feel grounded and centered)

The combination of these three elements helps to:

reduce stress (cortisol hormones)
increase endorphins (promotes resilience, pain relief and healing)
increase oxytocin (feelings of connection)
increase dopamine (feelgood hormones, a natural high)
increase serotonin (improved mood)
increase feelings of positivity
increase energy
reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness
promote peace and joy
