Fantastic Code and How to Write It

Event Type: Adults
Date: 5/20/2017
Start Time: 10:00 AM
End Time: 12:00 PM
Description:
Python & Data - Sorting Hat vs. Algorithms

Have you ever wondered how the sorting functions in Excel or your email work? Or are you just really concerned about whether you're a Gryffindor or Slytherin?

Either way, we're going to walk through the Python programming language's different sorting functions, what types of data we can apply them to, sort you into your Hogwarts house on Pottermore, and then use Python's built-in dictionaries to sort you with code.

No prior experience with Python is required for this workshop and we can give you a list of resources if you'd like to continue learning the language.

This is the third event in our 4-part Fantastic Code and How to Write It workshop series. You can attend one or all!

Registration is required. Limit 6.
