The Journeycare organization is partnering with libraries across Illinois to show the PBS documentary, Being Mortal, based on the book by Dr. Atul Gawande. The topic explores end of life care and doctor’s journey with his father. After the screening, audience members can participate in a guided conversation on how to take concrete steps to identify and communicate wishes about end-of-life goals and preferences. Participants will also receive a free copy of “Five Wishes”, an advance care planning tool.
