Russell Series Event - Birds & Flowers: A Drawing Workshop

 Christine Thornton will introduce you to beautiful Ukrainian folk art. In the workshop you will learn how to draw birds and flowers inspired by what you see. You will add finishing touches to your drawing using colored pencils and permanent markers. Participation is limited to 30 This series was established by the William Russell family in memory of Karen G. Russell. Each February and July, Chicago-area experts, artists, authors and others introduce students to their art, craft or profession by providing an interactive experience.

 Register ONLY your student entering 1st through 9th grade. To register another student, complete this registration, return to the event calendar, and logout. Choose the program again and enter the next person's library card number. To register an adult or students older than 6th grade, use the notes box. To register family members who do not have St. Charles Library cards, please contact the ASK ME desk. Please do not use the notes box for this purpose.
