Part of the Start & Grow Your Business Seminar Series.

If your pedigree doesn't include family money, an Ivy League MBA, or a network of Wall Street cronies, starting a successful business takes considerable guts and guile. When Champaign County natives Matt and Darin Riggs and their wives Caroline and Gail decided to use their family's 5th generation farm to fulfill their dream of brewing beer, they knew they were taking an enormous risk--something foreign to a wealthy insider with lots of connections and little to lose. After years of careful preparation, meticulous research, and lots of hard work, the Riggs family has grown their brand to regional renown--and with it their understanding of how to make a seemingly rigged system work for them.

The seminar runs from 8:00-9:00 am, with optional networking from 9:00-9:30. Doors open at 7:45 am. Registration is recommended. We invite you to bring your own laptop, or you may reserve one by indicating so in the notes field below or by calling 217-403-2078. Light refreshments will be served.
