Opening Day: StoryWalk® in the Circle - Kite Day

Event Type: Family
Date: 4/10/2021
Start Time: All Day
Description:
Whoosh! The spring winds are blowing and it’s time for another Story Walk in Elmwood Park. Follow the Story Walk path around the Circle anytime between April 10 and April 30 to read the picture book Kite Day by Will Hillenbrand. When you are finished reading, visit the Library to pick up an activity kit with your very own kite inside!

This is a fun and socially distant family event for kids of all ages. Please remember to practice safe social distancing and stay at least six feet from other families while enjoying the story. If you cannot maintain six feet of distance, please wear a mask. Masks are required for ages 3 and up in the Library when you pick up your activity bag. No registration required for the activity bag, while supplies last.

We would like to thank the Elmwood Park Youth Commission, The Village of Elmwood Park Public Works, and Girl Scout Brownie Troop #45821 for sponsoring this event.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
