Check in three more times over the summer to receive some creative incentives and earn a free paperback book.

All Ages Kickoff Event

All ages are welcome to come and enjoy a creative musical event performed by Hoapali Music. Start the summer off right with the sounds of Hawaiian music. The performance will be held at the Main Library in the Community Meeting Room at 2 pm.

Many CREATE-ive Ways to participate

Family Create Nights will start on Wednesday, May 21 with a visit from children’s book author, Candace Fleming. Ms. Fleming has written over twenty books for children and is appearing thanks to our partnership with Foundation 65. Look for the rest of the Family Fun Nights on Thursdays from May 29-June 26 at 7 pm. We’ll have Lego Building Night, Drive-in Movie Night, Jammie Time and more.

An Art Glass Workshop will allow families with children ages 7-10 to design their own stained glass styled project to take home while learning about Frank Lloyd Wright’s art glass designs. This 90 minute workshop will be on Tuesday, July 8 from 6:30-8 pm.

Each week during the summer we will feature a drop-in Create Station with a variety of games, projects and other activities.
