In order to register multiple people for one of our events please fill out an entry for each person. Submitting multiple names such as "John & Mary" in the FIRST NAME field will NOT register two people, it will only guarantee you *1 spot* at the event.

The library may take photos of program participants to use in library publicity (newsletter, website, Facebook). Participants are not identified without their permission. Please notify staff if you do not wish to be photographed or do not want your child photographed.
Human Library

Event Type: Teen Program
Age Group(s): All Ages
Date: 2/24/2019
Start Time: 3:00 PM
End Time: 5:00 PM
The Human Library provides the opportunity for people to share and understand the experiences of others inside and outside their community. People who attend this event will have to chance to listen to the personal experiences of volunteer ‘books’.
Volunteer books are individuals from all walks of life who have experienced and are willing to share a story of an impact full moment in their life. These stories could be about a large number of topics, whether it be racial discrimination or quitting a job to start your own business. No matter the book the goal is always the same, to better connect people through understanding and acceptance.
