Description:
Bring your lunch. We provide the guest speaker, beverage and dessert.

It’s November 22, 1963 and you have just arrived home for lunch and decide to turn on the television. A CBS news bulletin flashes on the screen and Reporter Walter Cronkite is reading information. Suddenly he says “From Dallas Texas the flash apparently official President Kennedy died at 1:00 p.m. central standard time, 2:00 eastern standard time some 38 minutes ago.”
Jim Gibbons will relook at one of the more tragic times in the nation’s history, the assassination of John F. Kennedy. If you were alive at that time you may remember everything you were doing when you heard the news. If not, you will learn how everything came to a complete halt with just four words, The President is dead.
