Intro to Quilt Making (Ages 13-Adult)

Description:
 Learn the basics of making a baby quilt (38 X 44 ). This is a 2 part class with homework. Day 1 is learning to piece the top quilt. Day 2 is quilting and binding of the quilt top. Students are welcome to use the space and equipment in the Collaboratory for their homework.

Participants must attend both days and have basic sewing machine skills (bobbin winding, machine threading, stitch and tension adjustment). All materials will be provided. Patrons can choose to bring their own 100% cotton medium weight fabrics. Please see staff in the Collaboratory for correct types and amounts.
