Afternoon Mini-series: It's back to school time! Our fall mini-series theme is American History. So pack a lunch and please take your seat. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lap-friendly nosh and covered beverage. A light dessert will be provided. Abigail Adams The American Colonists have signed the Declaration of Independence; it is July of 1776; General George Washington has only just liberated the city of Boston from the British; and Abigail Adams prepares to inoculate herself and her children from the dreaded Small Pox. Spend time with Abigail Adams by her spinning wheel as she reminisces about her experiences living in and around Boston prior to and during the early years of the American Revolution. Eyewitness to the birth of a nation, John Adam's dearest friend, wife, mother, and American patriot.
